Kuishin-Bo is situated at 3rd Storey, Suntec City Mall Tower One. It sits at one end of the stretch of restaurants in the Tropic Zone that include Chen Fu Ji Noodle House, Tuk Tuk Thai Kitchen, Swiss Culture, Pho House, Shillawon, Loving Hut and Pangat Restaurant. The location is a bit out of the way and unlike the 1st and 2nd floor where there are constant human traffic.

Kuishin-Bo is a very popular restaurant for friends, colleagues and family (baby chair is available). There are always long queue, therefore, do make reservation in advance so as not to waste time waiting for a seat.

The pricing is very unique, you can enjoy discount if you finish your meal within 60 mins. This will be advantages only if you are a fast eater or the kiasu type. My recommendation is to forget the discount, eat slowly and enjoy the meal.

Kuishin-Bo offers a wide spread of food including sashimi (salmon, tai), seafood(crayfish, scallop), maki, sushi, tempura, teppanyaki(dory, chicken, beef), kamameshi, ramen and mini paper steamboat. Furthermore, desserts, fruits, soft drinks, coffee and tea are also included with the buffet.

Variety of sashimi are a bit limited and can be improve. Presentation of the teppanyaki is not as nice as those from similar restaurants (eg Sakura & Genghis Khan). Otherwise, the teppanyaki beef is nicely prepared, very tender and delicious. Drinks and deserts are also good.

The buffet is spread out along a long 'alley' way, and can get congested when restaurant is packed. Service is good with friendly and pro-active waitresses - empty plates are clear promptly.

Rating : 3/5

Final Remarks:
The ambient is good, food is average and price a bit on the high side. Personally, I prefer Sakura which is cheaper and have a better spread of food.
